Girish Dwivedi

Professor Girish Dwivedi is Co-Founder and Director at lubdub.ai, a cardiovascular digital health venture pioneering remote and point-of-need heart assessment through AI-powered wearable diagnostics.
He completed his PhD in non-invasive cardiac imaging at the University of Manchester and served as a Clinician Scientist at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute before joining the University of Western Australia in 2017 as Professor of Cardiology.
A multimodal cardiac imaging specialist holding accreditations in Cardiac CT, Echocardiography, Cardiac MRI, and Nuclear Cardiology, he has authored over 300 peer-reviewed publications and secured more than $33 million in research grant funding.
Beyond lubdub.ai, he was a founding employee and later Chief Scientific Officer at ASX-listed Artrya Ltd, and co-founded CAD Spectral Technologies, which applies retinal imaging and AI to cardiovascular risk assessment.
Professor Dwivedi was awarded the 2026 WA Pearcey Entrepreneur of the Year and named 2026 Researcher of the Year by South Metropolitan Health Service, with Artrya growing to a valuation of over A$900 million under his scientific leadership.
