Govind Chada

Govind Chada is Co-Founder and CTO at Enact (YC S26), the post-training layer for robotics that generates the data needed to make robotics models reliable in the real world.
Govind earned his MS in Computer Science (AI) from Stanford University, where he conducted robotics research in Chelsea Finn's IRIS Lab at the Stanford AI Lab, and previously worked at Meta Reality Labs.
Govind co-developed real-world robot adaptation and recovery methods published at top robotics conferences, including work presented at ICRA 2025 on commonsense reasoning for legged robot adaptation using vision-language models.
At Enact, Govind and co-founder James Stevens built an in-house data and evaluation operation that rolls out policies, identifies failures, collects targeted training data, and iterates to make robots production-ready.
Enact, backed by Y Combinator (S26), is already serving robotics teams and tackling one of the field's hardest challenges: bridging the gap between lab demos and reliable real-world robot deployment.
