Greg Brockman

Greg Brockman is Co-Founder and President at OpenAI, the leading artificial intelligence research organization behind ChatGPT, GPT-4, and DALL-E. He previously served as CTO at OpenAI and currently leads the company's ambitious infrastructure buildout, including the Stargate Project.
Greg studied computer science at MIT and Harvard before joining Stripe in 2010 as an early engineer, where he became CTO in 2013 and helped scale the company from 4 to 250 employees across four continents. He left Stripe in 2015 to co-found OpenAI alongside Sam Altman, Elon Musk, and Ilya Sutskever.
Greg unveiled GPT-4 in a live demo in March 2023 and has led major projects including OpenAI Gym and OpenAI Five. He is known for his maniacal focus on compute infrastructure and has become one of the biggest power brokers in the AI era, orchestrating deals worth tens of billions of dollars.
