Greg Gillay (Gergely Gillay) serves as COO and Co-CEO at Emergence Engineering, a Budapest-based full-stack software development company specializing in ProseMirror editors, AI and LLM applications, and real-time collaborative web tools.

Greg studied Strategic Entrepreneurship at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, and previously held roles at Plantart, Aegon, and PenTech before joining Emergence Engineering.

Greg is driven by a passion for building and developing innovative companies that aim to better the world, bringing a business-focused perspective to complement the technical co-founding team.

At Emergence Engineering, Greg oversees operations and business strategy, working alongside co-founders Viktor Vaczi and Balazs Horvath to serve clients including MemRise, Lex, and Skiff with rapid prototyping and full-stack development.
