Gurshabd Singh Varaich is Co-Founder and CEO at Definite (YC S26), an AI-powered financial reporting agent, and Founder and CEO at Bylaw (YC S26), an AI agent safety platform backed by Y Combinator.

Gurshabd studied Computer Science at the University of Waterloo, where he also served as a developer at UW Blueprint, and previously interned at Ford, theScore, and BitGo, where he worked on pre-execution wallet policy and approval controls.

His hands-on experience at companies where unverified data carries high stakes directly inspired his mission to build trustworthy, evidence-backed AI agents for enterprise use.

Gurshabd co-founded Definite alongside Mazin Al-Ani and Farhan Ur Rehman, positioning it as the most accurate financial agent for reporting, while simultaneously leading Bylaw to address AI agent reliability at the moment of action.
