Haakam Aujla

Haakam Aujla is Co-Founder and CEO of AgentMail, the first email provider built natively for AI agents, pioneering the infrastructure layer that gives autonomous agents their own digital identities through email.
Haakam is a University of Michigan graduate who previously worked as a quantitative researcher at Optiver before co-founding AgentMail in 2025 alongside Michael Kim (ex-NVIDIA) and Adi Singh (ex-Accel).
Haakam believes email is not just a communication tool but the foundational identity layer of the internet, positioning AgentMail as the Gmail for AI agents rather than building entirely new identity protocols.
AgentMail was accepted into Y Combinator's Summer 2025 batch and raised a $6M seed round led by General Catalyst, with backing from Paul Graham, Dharmesh Shah (HubSpot), Paul Copplestone (Supabase), and Karim Atiyeh (Ramp).
Since launching in August 2025, AgentMail has scaled to tens of thousands of human users, hundreds of thousands of agent users, and over 500 B2B customers, with autonomous agents now self-registering on the platform without any developer involvement.
