Hamza Al-Ali

Hamza Al-Ali is the Founder and CEO of Playabl.ai (YC S26), a prompt-to-play AI game builder that lets anyone create games and interactive experiences simply by chatting with AI. He is also a member of the Forbes Technology Council, writing on AI in gaming, product design, and go-to-market strategy.
While still at Al Hussein Technical University in Jordan, Hamza built two six-figure revenue-generating companies, including a game modding business, demonstrating his entrepreneurial drive from an early age. He also scaled ARR 10x at B12App and grew a university program from roughly 90 to 320+ students per intake, generating over $1.7M in its first year.
Hamza lives at the intersection of AI, game engines, and systems design, believing technology can be a powerful force for creating opportunity for those who were never given one. His journey spans from hacking AAA games and building viral mods to creating agentic AI that lets anyone build playable games with a single prompt.
Before Playabl.ai, Hamza co-founded NeonRain, a modding platform used by millions of players that generated $1.3M+ in revenue with zero marketing spend and drove content with over 5 billion views. He also served as founder and president of the Al Hussein Technical University Model United Nations (HTUMUN), hosting conferences that attracted over 1,000 participants.
Playabl.ai grew from 100 to 10,000+ users in its first week of beta and reached 40,000 users within a month, all through organic community growth. Backed by Y Combinator (S26) and investor Impact46, the platform supports cross-game asset creation across titles including God of War, Minecraft, Skyrim, and Elden Ring.
