Haroon Inam is Co-Founder and CEO of DG Matrix, a cleantech company revolutionizing power electronics with solid-state transformer solutions for AI data centers, EV charging, and microgrids. He brings over 30 years of executive, product, and operations experience in energy technology, holding more than 50 patents.

Haroon earned both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Duke University. Prior to DG Matrix, he served as CTO of Smart Wires Inc., where he helped secure over $350M in funding and led the company to a public listing.

Throughout his career, Haroon has led teams of hundreds to develop more than 80 innovative energy technology products, multiple of which have generated revenues exceeding $1B. He has achieved three successful exits and raised nearly half a billion dollars across his ventures.

DG Matrix raised $20M in seed funding in 2024, led by Clean Energy Ventures with participation from ABB, Chevron Technology Ventures, Cerberus Capital Management, and Piedmont Capital. The company has secured tens of millions in purchase orders and is building a $2B pipeline in GenAI and electrification.

DG Matrix won the Energizing AI category at Yotta 2025 and was recognized in the Cleantech Top 100 in January 2026. The company's Power Router platform offers up to 10X size reduction compared to competitors and 98% energy efficiency, replacing 10-20 electrical devices with a single system.
