Harry Mellsop

Harry Mellsop is Co-Founder of Antioch, a New York-based cloud simulation platform enabling autonomy companies to build, test, and deploy robots and AI systems entirely in software. He is a New Zealander based in New York, driving the next wave of physical-world AI.
Harry earned a B.S. in Computer Science and Economics (with Distinction) and an M.S. in Artificial Intelligence from Stanford University, where he was awarded the Frederick Emmons Terman Engineering Scholastic Award and a Siebel Scholarship. He then worked on computer vision and neural networks at Tesla Autopilot before co-founding blockchain data startup Transpose, which was acquired by Chainalysis in 2023 in an eight-figure deal.
Harry believes physical AI, spanning manufacturing, logistics, construction, and agriculture, represents a $50 trillion opportunity where AI penetration is still near zero, dwarfing the disruption LLMs have caused in knowledge work. He built Antioch to democratize Tesla-level simulation infrastructure for any robotics team, regardless of budget.
At Tesla Autopilot, Harry led the driver monitoring program and worked on neural network systems for autonomous driving. As CTO of Transpose, he scaled the company to a successful exit before co-founding Antioch alongside Stanford alumni with backgrounds at Google DeepMind and Meta Reality Labs.
Antioch has raised $44.75M in total funding, including a $32M Series A led by Greylock, and counts Amazon Ring as a customer, with infrastructure partnerships with NVIDIA and Nebius. The platform allows teams to run thousands of simulated evaluations in parallel, replacing costly and slow physical hardware testing.
