Harsha Vardhan Khurdula

Harsha Vardhan Khurdula is Co-Founder of Interfaze (YC P26), a pioneering AI infrastructure company building deterministic AI models for developer tasks using a novel architecture that combines specialized DNN/CNN models with LLMs.
Harsha holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Purdue University and built deep expertise in computer vision, reinforcement learning, and NLP, previously serving as Founding AI Researcher at JigsawStack where the seeds of Interfaze were planted.
Harsha has over 5 years of specialization in computer vision, reinforcement learning for SLMs, and AI research, with multiple peer-reviewed publications and a paper accepted into IEEE CAI 2026.
At Interfaze, Harsha co-architected a groundbreaking system that treats LLM applications as a context-building problem, combining heterogeneous DNNs with small language models to deliver high-accuracy, verifiable outputs for OCR, web scraping, STT, and classification.
Interfaze was accepted into Y Combinator's P26 batch and has published foundational research on task-specific small models, positioning the company at the frontier of the shift away from monolithic LLMs toward deterministic AI infrastructure.
