Heather Brunner is Chairwoman and CEO of WP Engine, a leading WordPress Digital Experience Platform serving millions of customers across 150+ countries. She joined WP Engine as COO in May 2013 and became CEO in October 2013, steering the company through hyper-growth into global technology leadership.

Heather holds a bachelor's degree in international economics from Trinity University. Prior to WP Engine, she served as COO of Bazaarvoice during its IPO and rapid global expansion, and held leadership roles at Coremetrics, Trilogy, Oracle, and Accenture.

A 30-year technology veteran, Heather has generated billions in enterprise value and led business strategy for privately funded ventures and Fortune 500 companies. She serves on the board of directors for Camden Property Trust (NYSE: CPT), an S&P 500 company, and is a partner at Capital Factory.

Under Heather's leadership, WP Engine raised $250M from Silver Lake in 2018, expanded from an Austin startup to 1200+ team members globally with hubs in Austin, Brisbane, Limerick, London, Omaha, and Krakow. The company surpassed $100M in annual recurring revenue and serves customers in more than 150 countries.

Heather has been honored with the EY Entrepreneur of the Year for Central Texas, Austin Business Journal Best CEO award, Great Place to Work CEO Leadership for All award, and a Stevie Award for executive leadership. She has championed diversity, with women comprising 65% of senior executive roles at WP Engine.
