Henry "Hank" Schorz

Hank Schorz is Co-Founder and CTO at Tombot, a healthcare robotics company pioneering AI-driven robotic companion animals designed to support seniors with dementia, anxiety, and other health adversities.
With over 40 years as a C-level executive in high-tech, Hank previously co-founded ACT Litigation Services, serving as Executive VP of Operations until its acquisition in 2012, and brings deep expertise in consumer electronics, software development, and systems integration.
Hank's lifelong passion as a hobbyist roboticist and remote-control airplane builder and competitor directly informed his ability to invent the perception and control systems at the heart of Tombot's robots, leading to the filing of a comprehensive family of patents.
At Tombot, Hank is responsible for all technical and operations functions, translating complex engineering challenges across hardware, software, and manufacturing into a commercially viable robotic animal platform developed in collaboration with Jim Henson's Creature Shop.
Tombot has raised $17.1M across 7 funding rounds, including a $6.1M Series A in 2025, and is targeting a market of over 200 million individuals living with dementia or mild cognitive impairment, with projections to ship 200,000+ units by end-2026.
