Herrick Fang

Herrick Fang is Co-Founder at Koah, an AI-native advertising platform that enables contextual monetization inside generative AI applications. Koah has raised over $26 million and serves more than 2 million monthly active users across its publisher network.
Herrick studied at Harvey Mudd College and previously worked at Affirm, Supermove, and Qualified.com before joining South Park Commons as a Founder Fellow.
Herrick co-founded Koah in 2024 alongside Nic Baird and Mike Choi, leveraging deep experience in fintech and B2B SaaS to tackle AI monetization challenges. The founding team overlapped at three companies before starting Koah together.
Koah raised a $20.5 million Series A led by Theory Ventures in February 2026, with participation from Forerunner and South Park Commons. The company previously raised $5 million in seed funding in September 2025.
Koah has served over 35 million native ad impressions across 175 million queries, achieving a 7.5% click-through rate and 4-5x better CPMs than Google AdMob. The platform powers monetization for leading AI apps including Liner, Viro, and DeepAI.
