Hojun Choi

Hojun Choi is Co-Founder and Co-CEO of LinqAlpha, an AI-native platform building the Alpha Intelligence Layer for global public markets, serving hedge funds, asset managers, and investment banks.
Hojun graduated from Seoul National University with degrees in Business Administration and International Relations, served as an intelligence analyst in the Republic of Korea Army, and launched his career at Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong specializing in asset-backed financing and strategic equity derivatives.
A Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, Hojun co-founded LinqAlpha alongside MIT PhDs and fellow Goldman Sachs alumni, driven by his firsthand experience of the cognitive limits analysts face processing vast financial data.
Prior to LinqAlpha, Hojun worked at Macquarie Group's infrastructure and real assets division, then led Law&Good as President and CSO, raising $6M and launching Korea's first AI-powered legal research solution.
LinqAlpha has raised $28.6M in total funding including a $22M Series A, serves over 70 financial institutions across the US, Europe, and Asia, and its buy-side clients manage more than $5 trillion in assets.
