Holger Staude

Holger Staude is Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Springcoast Partners, a New York-based growth equity firm focused on scaled software and technology companies. Springcoast closed its inaugural fund at $750 million in January 2026, bringing total assets under management to over $1.5 billion.
Holger was a Managing Director of the growth equity business within Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he led software investments for over a decade. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he worked as an investment banker at Allen & Company and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Princeton University.
Holger served on the boards of prominent technology companies including Acronis, AlphaSense, BigCommerce, DataStax, Deepwatch, Egnyte, and Visier. He collaborated with co-founder Grant Wentworth for a decade before launching Springcoast in 2023.
Springcoast takes an operator-driven approach to value creation, backed by operating partners from BigCommerce, Proofpoint, and the Linux Foundation. The firm has returned over $100 million to investors through early liquidity events as of December 2025.
Springcoast's portfolio includes market leaders like Acronis, Egnyte, Nanit, Overhaul, and Peek, with investments ranging from $25 million to over $100 million. The firm focuses on companies with $30+ million in annual recurring revenue and profitable unit economics.
