Huy Phan (Henry) is Co-Founder, CTO, and CRO at Drylab AI, a Singapore and San Francisco-based agentic AI platform transforming how life sciences research is conducted.

Huy studied Electrical and Computer Engineering at VinUniversity as part of its first cohort, served as a Research Assistant at CSL-UIUC, and went on to become a visiting research engineer at Andrew Ng's Landing AI.

An active AI researcher, Huy has published work on multi-agent systems and software engineering, including HyperAgent for large-scale coding tasks and SWE-Synth for training LLMs on verifiable bug-fix data.

At Drylab, Huy leads the technical and research vision, building AI agents that autonomously plan, execute, and troubleshoot complex bioinformatics workflows across more than 800 scientific tools and databases.

Drylab raised a $3M seed round led by Vertex Ventures in October 2026 and has signed paying customers across pharmaceutical companies, cancer centres, and biomedical research institutes in the US, Europe, and Asia.
