Idalia Friedson

Idalia Friedson is Co-Founder of Sygaldry Technologies, a quantum-accelerated AI hardware company building next-generation servers that combine quantum processors with classical chips to dramatically speed up AI training and inference.
Idalia earned her degree from Amherst College and went on to co-found the world's first quantum policy center at the Hudson Institute, establishing herself as a pioneer at the intersection of quantum technology and national security policy.
She previously served as Chief Strategy Officer at Strangeworks, a quantum-AI software company, and also held the role of Chief of Staff at Rigetti Computing, where she was instrumental in guiding the company through its public market debut on the Nasdaq in 2022.
Idalia co-founded Sygaldry in 2024 alongside Chad Rigetti and Michael Keiser, bringing deep strategic, policy, and commercialization expertise to a team targeting one of AI's most critical infrastructure challenges.
Sygaldry raised $139 million in combined seed and Series A financing, backed by Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Initialized Capital, Y Combinator, and the University of Michigan, positioning the company as a leading force in quantum-accelerated AI infrastructure.
