Ido Bar-On is Co-Founder and CEO of Skapion, a defense technology company building a next-generation mobile counter-swarm system to detect, engage, and neutralize large-scale drone attacks for military forces and critical infrastructure.

Ido earned an Executive MBA Magna Cum Laude in Startup Management and Financing from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and previously led defense and government business across international markets at drone company XTEND.

A reserve Lieutenant Colonel in the IDF special operations, Ido brings rare operational credibility and strategic vision to the counter-UAS space, where he identified a critical gap in modern air defense economics.

At Skapion, Ido assembled an elite founding team including Brig. Gen. (Res.) Pini Yungman, architect of Iron Dome and David's Sling, and has grown the company to several dozen employees within months of launch.

Skapion raised a $36M Seed round co-led by Khosla Ventures and UP.Partners, with the platform designed to support hundreds of simultaneous drone engagements while dramatically reducing interception costs versus conventional systems.
