Ido Priel

Ido Priel is Co-Founder and CEO at Remondo, an Israeli space technology company developing revolutionary high-resolution Earth observation satellites.
Ido studied at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and served in the IDF Intelligence Corps Unit 9900, working on satellite systems. He co-founded SpacePharma, a pioneering space biotechnology company that launched autonomous labs to the International Space Station.
Ido brings deep expertise from elite Israeli intelligence satellite operations and has successfully launched multiple space missions. He co-originated SpacePharma's nano-satellite project funded by the Israel Space Agency.
Remondo has raised $20 million from private investors and Israeli government grants, with backing from 10D, Ace Capital Partners, 2i, Chartered Group, Starburst Ventures and Venture Israel. The company plans to launch its first mission in 2027 demonstrating the Partial Aperture Imaging System (PAIS).
Remondo's technology achieves sub-30 centimeter resolution from suitcase-sized satellites at costs 100 times lower than traditional systems, potentially transforming the Earth observation market. The innovation enables countries with limited budgets to build sovereign satellite constellations without compromising on resolution or coverage.
