Ignacio Tzoumas

Ignacio Tzoumas is Co-Founder and COO at Redefine Surgery, a health-tech company building physical AI to transform surgical training and guidance through its Mentor Vision System.
Ignacio holds a bachelor's degree in bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania and is a first-generation descendant of Hispanic and Greek immigrants, fluent in Spanish.
With deep roots in finance, Ignacio honed his expertise as a General Partner at Mercury Capital Management and Partner at Triton Global Securities, later channeling that into startup leadership and angel investing.
Prior to co-founding Redefine Surgery, Ignacio served as CEO of Bolt Mobility, a micromobility platform co-founded with Usain Bolt that raised over $40M, and as CFO at DPCM Capital.
Redefine Surgery closed an oversubscribed pre-seed round bringing total capital raised to $10M, backed predominantly by surgeon investors, and secured Catalyst OrthoScience as its founding industry partner.
