Ignasi de Llorens

Ignasi de Llorens is Co-Founder and CEO of Kintai, a Barcelona-based fintech platform democratizing working capital access for SMEs and freelancers across Spain through Open Banking and predictive data models.
Ignasi studied Business Administration at Boston College and built deep fintech expertise through roles at NoviCap, NOYO Global Engagement, and Bolt, where he developed a conviction that underserved SMEs deserved faster, smarter credit solutions.
Driven by the belief that traditional banks are too slow and backward-looking, Ignasi built Kintai around real-time Open Banking data and proprietary predictive models to assess creditworthiness dynamically and responsibly.
Co-founded in 2021 within the Nuclio Venture Builder alongside Victor Ruiz and Sebastian Duh, Kintai has raised over 10M euros including a Series A led by Barlon Capital, with backing from ICF and Nekko Capital.
Kintai has financed over 1,000 SMEs, advanced payment on more than 150,000 invoices, grown to 40 employees, and is recognized as one of Spain's leading alternative lending fintechs.
