Barak Sternberg is Co-Founder and CEO of Tenet Security, a cybersecurity platform purpose-built to secure autonomous AI agents at runtime for enterprise environments.
Barak served as one of Cisco's first GenAI security leaders, helping build Cisco's AI Defense initiative, and earlier was a senior security researcher at SentinelOne Labs. He is also a Unit 8200 veteran and holds the Israel Defense Prize.
Barak is a recognized speaker at DEF CON, Black Hat, RootCon, and Hactivity, and has pioneered research into a novel attack class called Agentjacking, which manipulates AI agents via poisoned data sources.
Before Tenet, Barak co-founded Wild Pointer alongside Nevo Poran, a cybersecurity firm serving Fortune 500 customers that scaled to seven-figure annual revenue before being absorbed into their Cisco work.
Tenet emerged from stealth in June 2026 with $6M in seed funding, and its platform has already helped a $1B ARR legal-sector enterprise scale from 2 to 20 AI agent deployments while blocking over 10 attempted cyberattacks.
