Ivaylo Stefanov is Co-Founder and CTO at Quillon, an AI platform for technical accounting and financial reporting founded in 2023. The company operates between Sofia and San Francisco, building tools designed to withstand scrutiny from auditors and the SEC.

Ivaylo holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UCL (2016-2019). He previously served as Vice President at Citibank, where he built their Large Language Model foundations.

Quillon recently raised $1.5 million in pre-seed funding and rebranded from Acclara AI. The round was led by 42CAP, with participation from angel investors affiliated with NVIDIA and Roblox.

Quillon's platform is built around a proprietary knowledge graph of accounting standards integrated with financial filing data. The startup aims to scale engineering and go-to-market efforts, expanding adoption among US public companies and auditors.

The platform focuses on technical accounting memos, which inform nearly all financial reporting decisions within public companies. Quillon plans to expand into broader financial reporting workflows, including quarterly and annual disclosures.
