Jack Curtis is Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer at Neara, an AI-powered digital twin platform that helps utilities manage critical infrastructure and prepare for extreme weather events.

Jack holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Technology Sydney and previously worked at Goldman Sachs in investment banking before spending several years at First Solar, where he rose to Senior VP International.

Jack has served as a Director on the Board of Directors of the Clean Energy Council and was recognized as a UTS graduation speaker in 2014 for his career achievements in renewable energy.

Neara raised 90 million AUD in a Series D round led by TCV in February 2026, achieving unicorn status with a 1.1 billion AUD valuation and bringing total funding to 180 million AUD. The company works with major utilities including Southern California Edison, CenterPoint Energy, and ESB Networks.

Neara has modeled over 15 million infrastructure assets globally across more than 2 million miles of networks, helping utilities identify risks 9 times faster and restore power 3 times faster while accelerating new infrastructure deployment by 85 percent.
