Jack O'Hara is the CEO and Co-Founder of Translucent AI, the first agentic AI platform built exclusively to modernize financial operations for healthcare operators.

Jack served as Chief Information and Transformation Officer at two multi-billion dollar medical groups, ChenMed and Springfield Clinic, where he led teams of 300 people across product, engineering, and AI, and rebuilt ChenMed's financial claims system from the ground up.

Jack witnessed firsthand how opaque financial data contributed to hospital closures, including a rural facility shutdown during COVID that left patients driving hours for care, which became the founding motivation for Translucent.

Translucent raised a $7M oversubscribed seed round in August 2025 from NEA, Virtue, FPV, and Redesign Health, followed by a $27M Series A led by GV (Google Ventures) in March 2026, bringing total funding to $34M.

Translucent serves leading health systems and medical groups across the U.S., including Duly Health and Care, Wray Community District Hospital, and Springfield Clinic, helping finance teams cut manual reporting from 40-60 hours down to minutes.
