Jacob Banks is Co-Founder and CEO of Sophiie AI, an Australian AI operating system purpose-built for trades and service businesses, helping them automate the entire customer journey from first enquiry through to invoicing.

Jacob began his career in marketing at Yellow Pages before co-founding Service.com.au, a national online marketplace connecting Australians to verified trades and service providers featuring over 35,000 businesses.

Through his deep experience in the trades sector, Jacob identified that business owners were losing an estimated 16 hours per week to admin, a problem he set out to solve with AI. He was named a finalist in the Gold Coast Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards alongside his co-founder.

Prior to Sophiie AI, Jacob founded and led Floodgate Digital, an Australian digital growth agency serving clients across more than 300 niches, and held a founding role at Service.com.au as Director of Sales and Marketing.

Sophiie AI raised a A$5 million Seed round at a A$30 million valuation, backed by Archangel Ventures, Admiralty Capital Group, Antler, Gandel Invest and Aussie Angels, and now serves thousands of businesses across Australia, New Zealand and the UK with 10 to 15 percent month-on-month growth.
