Jacob Chanyeol Choi is Co-Founder and Co-CEO of LinqAlpha, a GenAI-native market intelligence and analytics platform purpose-built for hedge funds, asset managers, and investment banks.

Jacob earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) from MIT, where he worked as a Graduate Research Assistant, and previously held a role at Qualcomm CDMA Technologies before co-founding LinqAlpha in 2022.

A Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, Jacob has been recognized as a leading voice in AI for finance, speaking at NVIDIA GTC 2025 as one of ten startups selected for the GenAI track, and co-organizing the AI for Finance Summit alongside ICLR, Microsoft, and Bloomberg.

Under Jacob's leadership, LinqAlpha has raised $28.6M in total funding, including a $22M Series A led by AVP, Atinum Investment, and GFT Ventures, and has partnered with Microsoft via the Majung Program to build cloud-native financial AI infrastructure on Azure.

LinqAlpha now serves over 170 financial institutions across the US, Europe, and Asia, including buy-side clients managing over $5 trillion in assets, with its AI search engine ranking No. 1 on HuggingFace's MTEB leaderboard for text retrieval.
