Jalaj Shukla is Co-Founder and CTO at Intelligence Factory, a Y Combinator-backed robotics AI startup on a mission to build general intelligence that works on any robot and fits seamlessly within the physical world.

Jalaj earned an MS in Robotics and Mechatronics from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Research Assistant at the renowned GRASP Lab focusing on multimodal manipulation policies, and earlier served as a Research Fellow at DRDO, India's Ministry of Defence.

With deep expertise spanning manipulation, Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models, and controls, Jalaj brings a rare blend of academic research and industry engineering to the frontier of physical AI.

Prior to founding Intelligence Factory, Jalaj held roles as MTS in Manipulation, VLA, and Controls at Dimensional, Senior Robotics Engineer at Blue Sky Robotics, Computer Vision Engineer at Applied Materials, and R&D Software Engineer at Ansys.

Intelligence Factory is backed by Y Combinator and Comma Capital, and has been recognized as one of the first YC companies to train and deploy its own physical AI model, pioneering tactile and force-feedback data collection hardware to advance generalized robotics.
