James Park

James Park is Co-Founder of Luffu, an AI-powered intelligent family care system designed to help families proactively manage the health and safety of children, aging parents, partners, and pets in one unified hub.
A Harvard College computer science attendee and serial entrepreneur, James co-founded Fitbit with Eric Friedman in 2007, building it into a global wearables pioneer that reached nearly 150 million users before its acquisition by Google in January 2021.
Named to Fortune's 40 Under 40 in 2015 and ranked #29 on Forbes' America's Richest Entrepreneurs Under 40, James brings a deeply personal motivation to Luffu, having experienced firsthand the challenges of managing aging parents' care from afar.
After Fitbit's Google acquisition, James served as VP and General Manager of Fitbit at Google, and has also co-founded Wind-Up Labs (acquired by CNET in 2005), Epesi Technologies, and serves as a Board Member at Kraft Heinz and angel investor in 22+ companies.
Luffu launched its app in public beta in February 2026 and unveiled Luffu Link, a screenless LTE health and safety wearable, in August 2026, targeting the 63 million U.S. family caregivers representing a 45% growth in the last decade.
