Jamie Hutchinson

Jamie Hutchinson is Co-Founder and CEO of Cordon Technologies, a UK-based agritech startup pioneering AI-powered precision spraying systems for sustainable agriculture.
Jamie spent eight years running a vineyard in South West France, and previously co-founded The Sampler, a London-based independent wine retailer that won Decanter's Favourite Independent Merchant in the UK three years in a row.
Jamie's frustration with conventional spraying equipment during his time as a vineyard owner directly inspired the invention of the Loop, Cordon's patent-pending dynamic mixing and precision-control system.
Cordon Technologies raised a pre-seed round of approximately £840k co-led by Britbots and Fund F, followed by a £1M seed round led by British Design Fund, with backing from SFC Capital, Zinc, and Evenlode Foundation.
Cordon has gained early commercial traction in the UK vineyard sector and plans to expand across European vineyards and into broader crop types including vegetables, apples, and soft fruit.
