Jean-Romain Bardet is Co-Founder and CEO of SCorp-io, a Paris-based SaaS startup pioneering cloud-native Building Management Systems (GTB) to decarbonize commercial and public buildings across France.

A graduate of ESIEE Amiens in Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Jean-Romain spent nearly 8 years as an automation engineer at Actemium France (VINCI Energies), then 2 years as a Solutions Architect at Factory Software (AVEVA Select France), building deep expertise in SCADA systems.

With over 12 years of hands-on experience in industrial SCADA systems, Jean-Romain identified a critical gap in the market: mid-sized buildings between 1,000 and 15,000 sqm remained largely underserved by traditional, costly GTB solutions.

SCorp-io raised 5 million euros in 2026 from the Ile-de-France Decarbonation fund managed by Eiffel Investment Group, with backing from EDF, GRDF, and Bpifrance, positioning the company for European expansion.

SCorp-io has equipped over 250 sites across 52 clients including the City of Paris, Novotel, Safran, and Lhoist, delivering approximately 6,200 tonnes of CO2 avoided and 440 GWh of energy reduced in 2025 alone.
