Jeffrey Lai is Co-Founder and CEO of IrisGo, a pioneering on-device AI assistant platform built for AI PCs, backed by AI Fund and selected for Plug and Play Batch 21.

Jeffrey holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and spent nearly a decade at Apple as a Siri Language Engineering Manager, with earlier roles at Cisco Systems and NASA Ames Research Center.

Drawing on his deep expertise building conversational AI at Apple, Jeffrey is focused on making AI both private and powerful by keeping all processing local on the user's device, with no data leaving the machine.

Prior to IrisGo, Jeffrey co-founded Tallgeese AI, an on-premise AI venture, demonstrating a consistent focus on secure, local AI infrastructure before launching IrisGo in 2025 with $2.8M in seed funding from AI Fund.

IrisGo has secured pre-installation partnerships with major PC brands and automates digital workflows including email drafting, document summarization, and task management, positioning it as a leading privacy-first AI assistant in the AI PC era.
