Jensen Huang

Jensen Huang is Founder, President, and CEO of Nvidia, the world's largest company by market capitalization. As of January 2026, Forbes estimates his net worth to be US$164.1 billion, making Huang the eighth-wealthiest individual in the world.
He holds a BSEE degree from Oregon State University and an MSEE degree from Stanford University. Prior to founding Nvidia, Huang worked at LSI Logic and Advanced Micro Devices.
Huang launched Nvidia in 1993 from a local Denny's restaurant at age 30 and has remained president and CEO since its founding. He led the company out of near-bankruptcy during the 1990s and oversaw its expansion into GPU production, high-performance computing, and artificial intelligence.
In 2017 Fortune magazine named Huang its Businessperson of the Year, and in 2019 Harvard Business Review ranked him as the world's best-performing CEO. In January 2026, he received the 2026 IEEE Medal of Honor, a prize awarded by IEEE to celebrate visionaries who transform technology and humanity.
Nvidia's pioneering work in accelerated computing led to the redefinition of modern computer graphics and the creation of modern AI. As of February 2026 Nvidia has a market cap of $4.207 Trillion USD, making Nvidia the world's most valuable company by market cap.
