Jeremie Cohen

Jeremie Cohen is the Founder and CEO of KelAI, an autonomous alpha engine purpose-built for hedge funds, traders, and institutional investors, and a proud member of Y Combinator's P26 batch.
Jeremie trained as a nuclear physicist at Ecole Polytechnique, France's top elite engineering school, before transitioning into finance after several years in biotech engineering in New York.
Jeremie believes AI will transform the financial industry to its core, with the power to generate alpha at a pace and scale no human team can match, and built KelAI from firsthand experience of how hedge fund research is constrained by human throughput and lost context.
He spent six years at WorldQuant managing a large global systematic equity book as head of event-driven systematic strategies, and previously led an ML team at Millennium Management and worked in data engineering at SolveBio.
KelAI has been deployed with an institutional investor with signals running live since October 2025, and has secured commitments from prominent institutional players while actively engaging several large hedge funds and financial institutions.
