Jeremy Fraenkel

Jeremy Fraenkel is CEO and Co-Founder of Fundamental, an AI company that built NEXUS, the first Large Tabular Model (LTM) for enterprise structured data predictions. Fundamental emerged from stealth in February 2026 with $255M in funding at a $1.2B valuation.
Jeremy studied AI at UC Berkeley and worked at Bridgewater Associates and JP Morgan in M&A. He previously co-founded Arkifi, an AI-powered financial analyst tool that raised $9M in seed funding from Khosla Ventures and Nyca Partners.
Fundamental was co-founded by DeepMind alumni and has secured seven-figure contracts with Fortune 100 companies. The company has a strategic partnership with AWS, making it one of only two AI companies with such a deep integration.
Fundamental raised a $225M Series A led by Oak HC/FT, Valor Equity Partners, Battery Ventures, and Salesforce Ventures. The company also received $30M in prior seed funding, bringing total funding to $255M.
NEXUS processes tabular data with a single line of code, eliminating months of manual data pipeline work. The model is trained on over 1 billion tables and can predict outcomes for fraud detection, credit risk, demand forecasting, and hospital readmissions with greater accuracy than traditional methods.
