Jeremy Huang

Jeremy Huang is the Solo Founder of jcode and the parent company Solo Systems, a Y Combinator Summer 2026 batch company building the most RAM-efficient open source terminal coding agent harness in Rust.
Jeremy studied at the University of Washington and interned at SpaceX in 2023 and 2024, developing deep expertise in systems-level engineering and high-performance infrastructure.
Jeremy is known for building surprisingly fast Rust tools that replace slow npm-based alternatives, including mermaid-rs-renderer (500-1000x faster than mermaid-cli) and agentgrep, a context-aware code search tool.
At Solo Systems, Jeremy built jcode from scratch as a solo founder, shipping v0.12.0 in May 2026 and reaching v0.62.1 by July 2026, with all benchmarks and agent transcripts published publicly under an MIT license.
jcode amassed thousands of GitHub stars within days of release, boots in just 14ms, uses only 10MB of RAM per session, and enables parallel multi-agent workflows that cut task completion time from over 6 hours to under 2 hours.
