Johann Coelho is Founder and CEO of BemAgro, a Brazilian agtech pioneer delivering AI-powered SaaS solutions for precision agriculture. He founded the company in 2018 to prove that farmers can produce more with less through artificial intelligence and computer vision.

Johann studied Business Economics and Controllership at USP (University of Sao Paulo) and advanced English at EF Executive Language Institute. He also completed training at Data Science Academy to build technical expertise in AI and data science.

Johann built BemAgro from the ground up in Ribeirao Preto, Brazil's agricultural heartland, positioning the company as a leader in geospatial intelligence for agriculture. He has assembled a strategic cap table of 100% agribusiness players including CNH, Suzano, ATVOS, The Yield Lab Latam, and Colorado Ventures.

Under Johann's leadership, BemAgro raised over R$50 million (approximately $10M USD) including a recent R$30.3 million Series A led by The Yield Lab Latam. The company tripled revenue between August 2024 and February 2025, secured R$35 million in contracts with strategic investors, and expanded operations to 12 countries across Latin America and Southeast Asia.

BemAgro has processed over 5 million hectares of farmland and helps farmers reduce herbicide use by 70-80% while increasing productivity by 7.5%. The company aims to reach 10 million hectares under management by 2032 and plans U.S. market entry in 2027.
