John Capodilupo

John Capodilupo is Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Throne Science, a pioneering gut health and hydration technology company building AI-powered toilet sensors for passive, continuous health monitoring.
John dropped out of Harvard in 2012 to co-found WHOOP, where he served as CTO for a decade and helped pioneer the wearable continuous physiological monitoring category.
Diagnosed with ulcerative colitis while building WHOOP, John channels his personal IBD experience into Throne's mission and serves as a patient advocate with the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
After WHOOP, John served as President of Synex Medical and Fund Lead at Wolfhead Capital, a data-informed pre-seed and seed venture fund, before co-founding Throne.
Throne has raised $10M in Series A funding led by Will Ventures, with its AI-powered Throne One device using 12 computer vision models trained by gastroenterologists to passively track gut health and hydration.
