John Philpott is a Partner at FINTOP Capital, a fintech-focused venture capital firm investing in B2B SaaS companies transforming financial services. He joined FINTOP in December 2018 and serves on numerous portfolio company boards.

John was a founding team member of S1 Corporation (NASDAQ: SONE), creator of the world's first internet bank SFNB, which grew to over $200 million in annual revenue. He holds a degree from Davidson College and is based in Nashville, Tennessee.

John served as CEO of Interactive Advisory Software, a wealth management technology firm representing over $70 billion in reportable assets. He also helped found a multi-family family office and asset management firm following his tenure at S1 Corporation.

At FINTOP, John serves on the boards of multiple portfolio companies including Sola, SquareDash, Participate, Infinant, Quavo, and DefenseStorm. He is a member of JAM FINTOP BankTech's investment committee and actively leads investments in the fintech ecosystem.
