John Putman

John Putman is Co-Founder of CubeFabs and Nanotronics Imaging, a pioneering force in industrial AI and modular semiconductor manufacturing, bringing over 40 years of entrepreneurial and engineering expertise to the frontier of chip production.
John co-formed Tech Pro, Inc. in 1982, introducing the first data acquisition systems in his industry, and earlier founded Polymerics where he invented the PolyGel rubber chemical dispersion, a widely used component in rubber compounds.
John's early vision of putting personal computers on factory floors in 1982 laid the intellectual foundation for AI-driven manufacturing, a philosophy that now defines CubeFabs' modular, self-monitoring chip factories.
Tech Pro was acquired by Roper Industries in 2008, after which John co-founded Nanotronics Imaging with his son Matthew, serving as President and CTO and co-authoring numerous patents throughout his tenure.
CubeFabs is democratizing semiconductor fabrication with AI-operated, prefabricated modular fabs that produce gallium oxide chips, 5 times more efficient than silicon, backed by over $130M in funding from investors including Peter Thiel.
