Jon Garrity

Jon Garrity is Co-Founder and CEO of Tagup, a defense and industrial AI company that uses machine learning to optimize logistics, predict equipment failures, and improve operational readiness.
Jon earned an S.B. in Physics and Economics from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School, and previously served as an Associate Product Manager at GE Energy and a Research Associate at Princeton Plasma Physics Lab.
Jon co-founded Tagup with MIT classmate Will Vega-Brown after recognizing that high-stakes decision-making in mission-critical environments lagged far behind available technology, creating massive inefficiencies.
Jon served as a Board Member at Greentown Labs and was a Student Entrepreneur in Residence at Highland Capital Partners, bringing deep expertise in industrial asset management and AI-driven product strategy.
Tagup has raised over $16.9M in financing, secured SBIR contracts with the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, and its platform has been used to monitor approximately 60,000 pieces of industrial equipment across North America and Europe.
