Jonathan Li is the CEO and Co-Founder of Induction Labs, a San Francisco-based AI research lab building next-generation foundation models that autonomously operate computers and act on the real world.

Jonathan began his career publishing NLP research at Queen's University under Prof. Xiaodan Zhu, then joined Cohere where he worked on synthetic data, reasoning, and RL infrastructure for large language models.

Described by colleagues as among the most promising young researchers in the field, Jonathan combines rigorous academic grounding with a hands-on engineering approach to frontier AI.

Jonathan co-founded Induction Labs with his brother Jeffrey Li (CTO), and the company was accepted into Y Combinator's Summer 2025 batch, validating their approach to agentic computer-use AI.

Induction Labs is building what it describes as the largest dataset of computer interactions ever collected, training models that execute tasks autonomously to unlock entirely new classes of AI-powered products.
