Jonathan Matus is the Founder and CEO of Fairmatic, an AI-powered insurtech company reimagining commercial auto insurance for vehicle fleets using smartphone-based telematics and machine learning.

Born in New York and raised in Tel Aviv, Jonathan studied Physics at Boston University and AI, Philosophy, and Neuroscience at Harvard University, before serving in the Israeli military and building a career in Silicon Valley tech.

Jonathan was one of Google's early Android team members helping launch the platform in North America, then led mobile platform product marketing at Facebook, giving him a unique vantage point on how smartphone proliferation created new road safety risks.

Prior to Fairmatic, Jonathan co-founded Zendrive in 2013, a SaaS enterprise platform that built the world's largest driving dataset with over 180 billion miles of data, partnering with Fortune 500 companies on mobility risk insights.

Fairmatic has raised $88M in total funding, onboarded hundreds of thousands of commercial drivers, and its AI underwriting model has been trained on over 200 billion miles of driving data, demonstrating a 25% improvement in driver behavior.
