Dr. Joshua Schiffman is the CEO and Co-Founder of Peel Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biotech pioneering evolution-inspired medicines for cancer and inflammatory diseases.

Dr. Schiffman earned his MD from Brown University School of Medicine and completed his Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at Stanford University, going on to serve as a Professor of Pediatrics and Investigator at Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah.

Dr. Schiffman has co-authored over 150 peer-reviewed publications and received the international Prince Hitachi of Japan Medal for Comparative Oncology in 2016 for his groundbreaking research into elephants and cancer resistance.

In addition to Peel Therapeutics, Dr. Schiffman co-founded ItRunsInMyFamily.com and served as Medical Director of the Family Cancer Assessment Clinic at Huntsman Cancer Institute, bringing decades of clinical and research expertise to drug development.

Peel Therapeutics has raised over $36M in seed financing plus $3M in non-dilutive NIH capital, advancing its lead asset PEEL-224 into Phase 1 clinical trials for advanced solid tumors.
