Julian Rowlands is the Co-Founder and CEO of Cashboard (YC S22), an AI-powered analytics and FP&A automation platform built for finance teams, based in New York.

Julian studied history in college and earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, before spending years building data systems for hedge funds and serving as a serial CFO at high-growth startups.

A self-described accidental CFO, Julian brings a rare combination of deep finance operator experience and data engineering know-how, giving him a unique edge in building tools that solve real FP&A pain points.

Prior to Cashboard, Julian served as CFO at Xendit (the Stripe of Southeast Asia) and as Head of Finance at Spruce, which was acquired by Zillow, with earlier roles at Alter Global and Eze Software Group.
