Julian Weaver

Julian Weaver is Co-Founder and CEO of Dydema (YC F26), a neurotech model and data company building AI models for brain-computer interfaces and recording the brain data to train them.
Julian studied Neuroscience and Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin, where he conducted machine learning and neuroimaging research and served as a Lecturer in Computational Neuroscience and AI.
Julian co-developed EVO-LRP, a novel general-purpose explainable AI method for interpreting black-box fMRI models that classify neurological disorders, and is deeply passionate about intelligence safety at the intersection of AI and neuroscience.
Prior to Dydema, Julian was a Founding Engineer at Syntra and co-founded Longhorn Neurotech, growing it into the largest student neurotech organization of its kind in the world.
Backed by Y Combinator's Fall 2026 batch, Dydema is pioneering neurotech research infrastructure by enabling teams to run on-demand neuro studies and access cleaned brain data without building a lab.
