Julius Scheel

Julius Scheel is CEO and Co-Founder of transload (YC P26), a deep tech startup using computer vision to automatically measure shipment dimensions in logistics warehouses.
Julius completed a PhD on the foundations of organizational culture and spent time as a Fellow at McKinsey & Company in Zurich, as well as 7 months at Cambridge researching causal ML for decision-making.
Julius brings a rare blend of academic rigor and entrepreneurial drive, having built and scaled ventures across healthcare and logistics while navigating top-tier consulting and research environments.
Julius was previously involved with avi care, a digital healthcare venture that scaled from one Munich clinic to 21 locations and 250 professionals, and transload was incubated through XPLORE, the TUM Incubator, robo.innovate, and TUM Venture Labs.
Transload is now part of Y Combinator's P26 batch and addresses a critical logistics pain point, with 15% of shipments found to be larger than declared by senders, unlocking significant revenue recovery for carriers.
