Kamran Majid

Kamran Majid is Co-Founder and CEO at Constellation Space (YC W26), an AI-powered operating system for satellite constellation management that predicts link failures with over 90% accuracy and autonomously reroutes traffic in under 2 seconds. The platform addresses the $2.5 billion annual cost of network failures as satellite constellations scale from 10,000 satellites today to 70,000 by 2030.
Kamran previously worked as a software engineer at SpaceX where he managed constellation health for Starlink, and gained experience at NASA working on deep space communications. He studied at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Kamran and his co-founder Omeed Tehrani built their founding team with years of experience operating satellite systems at SpaceX, Blue Origin, and NASA. They started Constellation to solve the problem of reactive monitoring that does not scale to thousands of satellites.
Constellation Space participated in Y Combinator's Winter 2026 batch and provides zero-intervention network handoffs, predictive thermal load-balancing, and sub-second optical routing for satellite operators. The company serves defense, commercial broadband, Earth observation, and IoT constellation operators.
Constellation Space is building autonomous infrastructure for next-generation space networking, enabling satellite operators to move from reactive firefighting to proactive, autonomous network management. The platform addresses the critical challenge that traditional ground-based orchestration fundamentally breaks down as constellations rapidly scale to tens of thousands of nodes.
