Kanish Raajkumar is Co-Founder, President, and CTO at BoomerangHR, an AI-powered platform transforming how companies manage offboarding and alumni engagement to turn former employees into rehires, referrals, and brand advocates.

Kanish earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo and built his engineering career as a Senior iOS Engineer at Work Market, which was later acquired by ADP.

A multi-time venture-backed founder, Kanish previously founded Sonero.ai in 2019, an AI-driven conversation intelligence platform for B2B revenue teams, which was successfully acquired by Mediafly in early 2023.

At BoomerangHR, Kanish leads all technology development, building an AI-native platform that integrates with existing HRMS and ATS solutions and is trusted by hundreds of companies representing millions of alumni.

BoomerangHR closed a $12.7M seed round in September 2026 led by Kalos Ventures and Album Ventures, with participation from Monta Vista Capital, Capital Eleven, and Strada Education Foundation.
