Kanyes Thaker

Kanyes Thaker is Co-Founder of Hyper, a Y Combinator-backed AI platform building the self-driving company brain for AI-first teams. He is driven by a belief in creating exceptional products at the intersection of deep engineering and real-world impact.
Kanyes studied Computer Science and Mathematics at UC Berkeley (Class of 2021) and served on the Board of Directors of MDB, Berkeley's developer community. He later worked as a Founding Data Engineer at Snorkel AI and as a Research Lead in motion planning at Matic Robots.
Kanyes secured multi-million dollar enterprise deals at Snorkel AI and wrote core motion algorithms at Matic Robots, giving him rare depth across AI/ML and robotics. His early entrepreneurial ventures include a campus assistant app that reached 1,000 users in one week and attracted a SAFE offer from PearVC at a $3M valuation.
At Hyper, Kanyes co-built a platform that silently learns from every tool a company uses, including Notion, Slack, email, and Cursor, and automatically synthesizes that knowledge into a real-time, conflict-free company brain. Hyper is backed by Y Combinator and integrates directly into the AI tools teams already use.
Hyper's platform enables AI-first teams to eliminate repeated context errors and agent mistakes by infusing living company knowledge into every AI workflow. The company has gained traction with fast-growing teams and was featured in Y Combinator's AI cohort as a standout knowledge infrastructure startup.
